Preparing for Hailey....

So, as we prepare for Hailey to come home, we have her room pretty much complete and lots of clothes hanging in the closet. "Dad" says she'll be the best dressed girl in town and he's probably right!
We finally hung the letters of her name and the 100 Good Wishes Quilt that Lisa made with everyone's contributions back in 2007. It just didn't feel right hanging anything on the walls until we actually had a picture. It feels great to see her name on the wall!
We are just waiting for our Visas to come in the mail and to hear about our Travel Arrangements. The waiting game is killing us - worse than the last 4 years I think. Today, we did get the names and email addresses of 5 of the other families that will be included in our travel group. Thus far, there are 4 couples from Colorado (including us), 2 from Tennessee and 2 from Kentucky. We all got to at least introduce ourselves today, so that was pretty fun.

"Grandma" and I had lunch at P.F. Chang's today and sat and talked about Hailey for over 2 hours out in the sun. Pretty cool...this is what my fortune read: "Your eyes will soon be opened to a world full of beauty, charm and adventure." ....hoping to get our travel arrangements for China soon! We'll keep you posted.
