Yeahhh! We received updated information on Hailey today!! We couldn't be more excited! The only pictures we have of her were taken at age 5 months. The photos sent today are from 7/6/09 at 9 months and 3 days. She definately looks older from her last photos!! "Dad" thinks she looks a bit thin and wants to call the orphanage to tell them to "feed that girl a burger!" But we think she is absolutely beautiful!!! ...Such a serious look in all of her photos, but that's sure to change!! We'll make certain of it. She won't have any other choice but to laugh at "Mom" and "Dad" and our silly antics.
Here are the updates we have thus far from the Orphanage:
Weight: 14.74 pounds, Height: 26.37 inches
Teeth: None
Sitting: Yes: Standing: No, Walking: No; Speaking: No
Where does your child sleep? She sleeps in a crib all by herself
"Your child was on Nestle formula"
Other information: Everything else is normal
Now, it's just "hurry up and wait" for our TA (Travel Arrangements). There is talk that we may be leaving around the 5th of August. We'll be sure to let you know.
Time can't come soon enough! And we thought the 4 years was a long wait! These last few are killin' us!

I love the little feet! She is precious and I can't wait to meet her. Hurry up and wait is exactly right...in the big picture, it's not long to wait. Right now, it feels like an eternity! Hang in there.

I am the mom of a 2 year old who came home from China 1 year ago. Your daughter is sooo pretty. Her little face is just so beautiful. I remember how it felt like forever to get to China after seeing our little one's face. It is hard. Before you know it she will be nestled in your arms and smiling at you. Congratulations!!!!
